Ben Rex founded Cyberwoven in 2001, conducting an acquisition of client bases and assets of two companies. Now in its 10th year, Cyberwoven’s 35 employees serve clients in 25 states and seven countries.
Active in the community, Ben serves as Finance Chair for The Salvation Army of the Midlands and is a member of the boards of the University of South Carolina Honors College and the South Carolina Philharmonic. In 2009, he was as an Adjunct Professor at the University of South Carolina where he taught Entrepreneurship and the Arts. His students partnered with the S.C. Philharmonic to bring Bela Fleck & the Flecktones to Columbia for a December holiday concert.
Ben received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of South Carolina Honors College. He also attended Martin Luther Universität Halle-Wittenberg in Wittenberg, Germany where he participated in an intensive German language study program. Ben lives in downtown Columbia.
