Cheryl Behymer is a partner in the Columbia office of Fisher & Phillips, LLP. She assists clients by providing counsel and training in affirmative action, workplace harassment, immigration compliance, employee leave issues involving the Family and Medical Leave Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act, and other labor and employment issues.
Active in the community, Cheryl is a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for the Cultural Council of Richland and Lexington Counties and the South Carolina Diversity Council. She is also a member of the North Carolina/South Industry Liaison Group, for which she is a frequent speaker. In addition, Cheryl is actively involved in the Women Helping Women Achieve mentoring program for the female athletes at the University of South Carolina.
Cheryl received her bachelor's degree from California State University and her Juris Doctor from the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University of America. She is certified as a labor and employment specialist by the S.C. Supreme Court.
