Dave Peterson is the Plant Director for Starbucks newest roasting facility based in Calhoun County. With over a quarter of a century of experience in manufacturing, quality control, and plant management positions, Dave has led the Calhoun County Starbucks Roasting Plant to new production records.

Dave is involved with state and local issues through contributions to both the Calhoun County and State Chambers of Commerce. In 2010, he was named as the Economic Development Ambassador for Calhoun County.

Dave received his bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering from Oregon State University. Dave and his wife, Mary, are proud to now call the Midlands of South Carolina home. They have two sons, one a student at the University of Iowa and the other attending Iowa State University.
