Donna Northam is Assistant Vice President of Corporate & External Communications for Colonial Life. She is responsible for employee and sales organization communications, media relations, proposal services, flexible benefits and community relations. Donna joined Colonial Life in 1979 and has held a number of management positions, including director of employee development for Unum and vice president of communications and marketing support for Colonial Life.
Active in the community, Donna is a past chair and current executive board member of the Cultural Council for Richland and Lexington Counties. She is a past chair of the United Way of the Midlands’ Palmetto Society Committee and current board member of the United Way of the Midlands. In addition, she has served on the South Carolina Philharmonic Executive Board, Healthy Learners Development Board of Providence Hospital, Communicare Advisory Board and the University of South Carolina Arnold School of Public Health Development Board.
Donna received her Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
