Henry Haitz is President of The State Media Company and Publisher of The State newspaper. Prior to joining The State in 2006, he served as President and Publisher for The Herald, in Bradenton, Florida. Henry is a member of the Inland Press Association board of directors.
Active in the community, Henry serves on the boards of the United Way of the Midlands, Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce, the Knight Foundation Community Advisory Committee, the Summit Club and the South Carolina Council on Economic Education.
Henry received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Accounting from Bloomsburg University and his Master of Business Administration in Finance from Penn State University.
