Kappy Hubbard is a community volunteer with a passion for the arts, environment, education and the welfare of children and families.
Kappy currently serves on the boards of Columbia Green and Thornwell Home for Children in Clinton. She is also on the Executive Council of The South Caroliniana Society. A founder and former chair of the board of Voices for South Carolina's Children (now The Children's Trust of South Carolina), she has served on the board of the Speech and Hearing Clinic, Lexington/Richland Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council and Children Unlimited Inc. Kappy has also served as board member of the South Carolina Archives and History Foundation, the University of South Carolina's Bicentennial Commission, and as president of The Junior League of Columbia.
Kappy received her Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of South Carolina and is a graduate of Leadership Columbia. In 2008, she was awarded The Order of The Palmetto for her community service.
