Love Collins is the Executive Vice President of Institutional Advancement for Benedict College. Prior to joining Benedict, he previously worked for the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center in Cincinnati, the Florida A&M University Foundation in Tallahassee and the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games.
Active in the community, Love is currently chair of the United Way of the Midlands Education Committee, is president-elect for the Central Carolina Chapter of the Association for Fundraising Professionals and is a board member of Vital Connections of the Midlands.
Love earned his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Emory University. Additionally, he is a graduate of the Institute for Education Management at Harvard University Graduate School of Education and a fellow of the Johns Hopkins University-Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies.
Love and his wife, Valeda, have three children, Valeda II, Addison and Brennan.
