Michael C. Crapps

Mike Crapps is a founder of First Community Bank and has served as its President and CEO, as well as on its board of directors, since opening the bank in 1995.  Prior to opening First Community Bank, he served as President, CEO, and a Director of Republic National Bank.  Mike is a lifelong resident of Lexington County and is an active member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church where he has served on the finance committee and the endowment committee. 

Active in business and the community, Mike serves on the boards of Saluda Shoals Park Foundation and the Lexington School District One Foundation.  He is a past chair of the South Carolina Bankers Association, the American Cancer Society South Atlantic Division and the Greater Lexington Chamber of Commerce.  Mike has been involved with Palmetto Place Children’s Emergency Shelter, Friends of the Lexington Library and the Greater Columbia Community Relations Council and is a member of the Lexington Rotary Club.

Mike received his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Clemson University and his Master of Business Administration from the University of South Carolina.  He is also a graduate of the LSU Banking School of the South. 

Mike and his wife, Kay, have five children.
