Organizational Impact Grants

Organizational Impact Grants address local nonprofit needs for increasing management capacity to sustain long-term success and growth. The maximum request amount is $10,000. 

The grantmaking process for Organizational Impact Grants is a two-phase,
bi-annual process.  Deadlines for Phase One are February 15 and August 15 of each year.  Deadlines for Phase Two are April 15 and October 15 of each year.  If either of the deadline dates fall on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday, the materials are due by 5:00 p.m. on the following business day.

Grants from August 2007 Cycle

City Year Columbia received $10,000 to support rural/urban expansion efforts in Orangeburg and Lee counties as well as Richland School District Two.

Mental Illness Recovery Center received $10,000 to upgrade its network server and operating system to accommodate service expansion.

South Carolina Association of Nonprofit Organizations received $3,670 for a technology upgrade, to include the purchase of six desktop computers and several needed software programs.
