Impact Grants

Central Carolina Community Foundation awards competitive grants primarily to nonprofit organizations that are defined as tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  These grants are available to organizations serving the following counties: Calhoun, Clarendon, Fairfield, Kershaw, Lee, Lexington, Newberry, Orangeburg, Richland, Saluda and Sumter.

Both the Community and Organizational Impact grants fund programs in our strategic focus areas: Dropout Prevention and Illiteracy Reduction. Community Impact grants fund programmatic initiatives of nonprofit organizations. Organizational Impact grants assist local nonprofits by addressing their need for increased management capacity in order to sustain long-term success and growth.
