Susie VanHuss served as interim President & CEO of Central Carolina Community Foundation from May 2008 to January 2009. Previously, she served as Executive Director of the University of South Carolina Foundations. Susie is a prolific author and her work includes textbooks in communications, keyboarding and office technology.
Active in the community, Susie has served in various capacities as a member of five national honorary organizations and many professional organizations. She serves on several external boards of directors and advisory councils, including the SCBT Financial Corporation, the Carolina Children's Home and Junior Achievement, as well as serving as ex officio board member of the five USC foundations. Susie served for eight years as the USC faculty representative to the National Collegiate Athletics Association.
Susie received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and her Master of Business Administration and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from Indiana University.
