Orangeburg Calhoun Community Foundation is a publicly supported endowment that allows neighbors, leaders, citizens, family and friends to provide for each other and our futures together as a community. We receive gifts from donors to meet community needs within Orangeburg and Calhoun counties by awarding grants to nonprofit organizations and charitable programs. Our volunteer Board of Advisors consists of community leaders and representatives who guide the endowment with administrative and management support services provided by Central Carolina Community Foundation (CCCF).
As an affiliate fund of CCCF, Orangeburg and Calhoun counties enjoy the many benefits of a community foundation while avoiding the costs and administrative burdens of a separate foundation. This gives our grantmaking dollars maximum impact and local focus.
The citizens of Orangeburg and Calhoun counties will reap great benefits from the legacies that we create in our community today through the Foundation. The endowment is used in many ways, supporting programs in education, human services, the arts, and health care, just to name a few.
