One Columbia for Arts and Culture is helping create a more vibrant community by connecting artists, residents, businesses, and local leaders through arts and culture. Designated as the Local Arts Agency for the City of Columbia, the organization works to advise, amplify, and advocate for the arts and culture community, helping local artists find new opportunities while making the arts more accessible to people throughout the city.
From large-scale murals and public art installations to studio space, performances, and educational opportunities, One Columbia brings creativity into the places where people live, work, and gather. The organization also helps residents and visitors discover local exhibits, festivals, classes, and performances while providing artists with resources to find funding, audiences, venues, and other opportunities to grow.
In fiscal year 2025, One Columbia received a Multi-Year General Operating Support Grant from Central Carolina Community Foundation and funding from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation Fund at Central Carolina Community Foundation. This support helps the organization continue strengthening the local arts, expanding access to creative experiences, and building connections that contribute to a thriving community.
