Community Foundation for Orangeburg and Calhoun Counties

Community Foundation for Orangeburg and Calhoun Counties (CFOOC) is a publicly supported endowment funded by donors who believe in our community’s future. Donors include individuals, families and local businesses. With their help, we make grants to improve the quality of life of residents in Orangeburg and Calhoun counties.

Community Foundation for Orangeburg and Calhoun Counties is managed by a volunteer board of advisors made up of local community representatives and leaders who guide the Foundation. CFOOC is uniquely positioned to understand the broad range of challenges and opportunities in it's communities.

In 2014, the Foundation granted  $13,000 to local nonprofit organizations and created a proportional match for local organizations participating in Midlands Gives on May 5,2015. Thanks to generous community support, CFOOC has awarded more than $100,000 in grants to local nonprofit organizations since 2002.
