Boosting Students’ Dreams:
The Columbia (SC) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated, boost their annual scholarship.
Read moreSumter Community Foundation (SCF) is a publicly supported endowment funded by donors who believe in our community’s future. Donors include individuals, families and local businesses. With their help, we make grants to improve the quality of life of residents in Sumter County.
Sumter Community Foundation is managed by a volunteer board of advisors made up of local community representatives and leaders who guide the Foundation. SCF is uniquely positioned to understand the broad range of challenges and opportunities in its community.
Thanks to generous public support, Sumter Community Foundation has awarded more than $75,000 in grants to local nonprofit organizations since its founding in 1998.
All gifts to the Foundation are tax-deductible. You can make a secure contribution to Sumter Community Foundation online or you can mail a check to the Central Carolina Community Foundation office designated for Sumter Community Foundation. If you wish to make a gift of stocks, bonds, insurance or a bequest, contact Heather Sherwin at 803.254.5601 x331 or heather@yourfoundation.org.
