After the Tragedy, We Must Come Together to Heal
October 29, 2018
In the wake of the terrible tragedy at the Tree of Life synagogue, our hearts are with the families of each of the victims, the Jewish community, the law enforcement community, and the people of Pittsburgh.
When violence, triggered by hate, is let loose on an American community we are all devastated. We must come together, regardless of our varying backgrounds and political ideologies, to grieve, speak out against the hateful rhetoric that fuels violence, and demonstrate unity – the first step toward healing.
On Tuesday, October 30th we will join our neighbors at 6 PM at Beth Shalom Synagogue to mourn and seek solace. We urge you to join us to show your compassion and your commitment to building a community where hate is not tolerated.
