BIPOC Leadership Training and Coaching Program

Central Carolina Community Foundation is pleased to announce the BIPOC Leadership Training and Coaching Program, a free leadership development program for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color mid-level nonprofit professionals. The program is designed to increase participants’ knowledge, skills and confidence to seek promotional opportunities in the nonprofit sector.
Mid-level professionals are those who are currently beyond an entry-level role or position, but not yet serving in a director or executive role. Throughout the course of the program, participants will take part in seven sessions focused on specific areas of leadership development as well as two one-on-one coaching sessions.
CCCF will sponsor 15 mid-level nonprofit professionals to attend the BIPOC Leadership Training and Coaching Program. Participants will be selected following the competitive application process. Seats in the program are valued at more than $500 each.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
- Increase the likelihood that participants will remain in the nonprofit sector for at least the next 3 years.
- Increase participants’ self-efficacy to excel as a leader in their organization.
- Increase participants’ readiness for a promotion.
TIME COMMITMENT
Participants will need approximately 1 and a half hours once per month to participate. The monthly sessions will take place on Fridays at 10:00 am June 2021 – February 2022 (exact dates TBD).

* Focus of coaching sessions will be based on individual professional goals and perceived strengths and opportunities for growth. Participants will also receive resources to use afterward to continue their journey.
FACILITATOR
Each discussion will be facilitated by Andrea White, Founder & CEO of Elite Business Coaching.
Andrea White is the creator of The Suite Life, a signature career advancement coaching series, a business strategy and leadership development expert, speaker, mom of two awesome young men and dog mom to Muffin, a senior rescue Shih Tzu.
As a 16-year Business Consultant, she has traveled across the United States developing strategy and leadership development programs for businesses, nonprofits, and governmental agencies with a focus on minority populations.
Ms. White’s Grow! Leadership Academy was designated as a Promising Practice by the National Association of City and County Health Officials.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Applicants must identify as BIPOC and be employed by a nonprofit physically located in CCCF’s 11-county service area. Please have your supervisor sign the Supervisor Letter of Support form and upload it to your application.
