CCCF Postpones On the Table Until March of 2022

Central Carolina Community Foundation, the Midland’s leader in collaborative philanthropy, has postponed On the Table due to rising COVID-19 cases. The community-focused, conversation-based initiative will take place March 6-12, 2022.

“During this time of continued uncertainty, the safety and wellbeing of our community are our primary concerns as we strive to have safe, meaningful conversations that inspire action throughout our community,” says JoAnn Turnquist, president and CEO of Central Carolina Community Foundation. “We encourage community members to act with compassion and seek opportunities to listen to others during the weeks and months ahead. And, we look forward to safely gathering with our community in March.”

For three years, On the Table has provided an outlet for residents, businesses and organizations to take part in meaningful conversations, build personal connections and learn how to create a more generous, vibrant and engaged community.

On the Table will continue to bring diverse voices together across the region in March of 2022 to discuss our future and inspire actionable ideas to strengthen our communities. On the Table is funded by First Citizens Bank and other members of the Foundation’s In Good Company initiative. In 2020, more than 750 individuals participated in conversations discussing topics ranging from youth entrepreneurship to gentrification and community building.
