CCCF Welcomes New Members to Board of Trustees

Five local business leaders have been added to Central Carolina Community Foundation’s Board of Trustees:
- Margaret Clay, Editor and Associate Publisher, Columbia Metropolitan Magazine
- Robert Feinstein, Managing Director, South Carolina Retirement System Investment Commission
- Rita Patel, Owner, Hotel Trundle
- Kevin Smith, Partner and Strategy Director, Riggs Partners
- Stacy S. Stokes, Partner, Bauknight, Pietras & Stormer, P.A.
Calvin H. Elam, CEO of EFinancial Advisors, will serve as Chair of the Board. Cory Manning, Partner at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough, will serve as Vice Chair, and Charles Kahn, Vice President of Kahn Development Company, will serve as Secretary and Treasurer.
The Community Foundation stewards assets of $220 million and, since its inception in 1984, has awarded more than $240 million in grants and scholarships. The new board members will join current board members and Community Foundation staff in working to increase the impact of philanthropy throughout the Midlands region of South Carolina and beyond.

The Foundation also expresses appreciation to its retiring trustees for their service: Julie Albrecht, Julie Brenan, Sharon Bryant, Henry Clay, Rob Godfrey, Scott Macfarland, Beth Richardson, Bhavna Vasudeva, and Steve Waddell.
