Central Carolina Community Foundation welcomes new additions to Board of Trustees

Four Midlands business leaders have been added to Central Carolina Community Foundation’s Board of Trustees:

Cory E. Manning, partner at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough, will serve as chair of the board. Scott Graves, president of the private business division at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, will serve as vice chair, and Derrick L. Williams, attorney at Williams & Roche, LLC, will serve as secretary and treasurer.

The Community Foundation stewards over $200 million in assets and has awarded over $255 million in grants and scholarships since its inception in 1984. The new board members will join current board members and Community Foundation staff in working to increase the impact of philanthropy throughout the Midlands region of South Carolina and beyond.

The Foundation also expresses appreciation to its retiring trustees for their service: Scott McClelland and Candace C. Shiver.
