Our Midlands community is made up of hundreds of nonprofit organization working to make this place we call home better for all our citizens.

Throughout the Foundation's 30 year history, we have awarded grants to thousands of nonprofit organizations both here in the Midlands and across the country. These organizations work in every charitable field - from arts to education to human services to animal welfare. We pride ourselves on connecting charitable individuals and businesses with organizations meeting the critical needs in our community.

Combating Summer Learning Loss

To succeed in school and life, children need ongoing opportunities to learn and practice essential skills. This is especially true during the summer months. Statistics show that more than half of the achievement gap between lower- and higher-income youth can be explained by unequal access to summer learning opportunities.
