Foundation Leadership Recognized As Influential Community Leaders

JoAnn TurnquistThe Community Foundation congratulates many members of our leadership who were recognized over the past month for their philanthropy and community leadership.

In December, our President & CEO, JoAnn Turnquist, received the Jefferson Award from WACH FOX, an award which recognizes local community members for their outstanding contributions to the community.

Columbia Business Monthly released their 50 Most Influential for 2017 and many Foundation leaders were represented. Congratulations to board members Tod Augsburger, Lou Kennedy and Susie Shannon and former trustees Rev. Charles Jackson, Sr. (also father of board member Candice Shiver), John Lumpkin, Jr. and Dan Mann on being among the most influential community leaders! CCCF donors Robert Hill and Dawn Staley (Innersole), Professional Advisor Cheryl Holland and PR partners-Tracie Broom and Debi Schadel (Flock and Rally) were also named to the list.

Our President & CEO JoAnn Turnquist and former trustee Mike Brenan, (husband of board member Julie Brenan) were also inducted into the inaugural Most Influential Hall of Fame!
