2014 Student Group Winner
H.O.P.E 365 (Helping Other People Everywhere 365) is a service organization at Richland Northeast High School that works to meet the needs of the Midlands community. Comprised of over 200 students from various backgrounds, the students focus on showing people that giving of their time is just as important as giving of money or goods.
Over the course of 2014, the students worked together to contribute over 1,000 coats to the homeless, 600 toys to Palmetto Children’s Hospital, 200 pints of blood to the American Red Cross and numerous other drives to local charities. In addition to helping local charities, the students work tirelessly year-round to manage the school’s clothing closet and food pantry.
