At Central Carolina Community Foundation, we celebrate the rich cultural diversity that defines our state. Through various initiatives, we engage diverse communities in addressing relevant community needs in the Midlands.

African American Philanthropy Committee

The African American Philanthropy Committee promotes, increases, and supports philanthropy in the Black communities throughout the Midlands.

Local Giving Circles

• Women In Philanthropy (WIP) provides an opportunity for a number of strong, caring and focused women to come together to learn about financial and philanthropic issues and to address the needs of women and children in the area.
• Cola Gives, an African American giving circle.
• Women Engaged, an African American Women’s giving circle focused on sharing resources and supporting causes in communities across South Carolina.
